Exciting project spotlight! I’m so proud to share that Texas CASA recently released an article about the Collaborative Family Engagement (CFE) Youth Journal — a resource my team had the joy of designing!

The CFE Youth Journal: My Journey, My Journal is a creative, youth-centered tool designed for young people in foster care to reflect, express, and explore through art and guided writing prompts — all shaped by input and artwork from youth with lived foster care experience.

By the numbers:
6,000 journals ordered over the past 15 months
4,750 in English + 1,250 in Spanish
These are being distributed to youth served by CASA, CPS, and SSCCs across Texas!

Whether you’re a volunteer, advocate, or friend of foster youth, this journal is a beautiful way to support youth voice and self-expression.
