ONE YEAR LIVE ✨ | CASA of Tarrant County
It’s officially been one year since I launched the completely reimagined CASA of Tarrant County website — rebuilt from the ground up in Squarespace 7.1.
And one year later, I love getting to look back at not just how the website looks, but how people are actually using it.
In its first year:
→ 63,000+ visits
→ 52,000+ unique visitors
→ 91,000+ page views
→ 47,841 Spanish translation requests through the integrated Weglot translation tool
→ 5,400+ button clicks
→ 757 volunteer information session registrations
And the stat that surprised me most?
The homepage wasn't the most-visited page.
“Become an Advocate” was.
That feels especially meaningful because one of the biggest goals of this redesign was to make it easier for someone to go from learning about CASA to actually taking that next step.
The project was a complete reinvention of the website — restructuring the navigation, rewriting and updating copy, incorporating new photography, simplifying the volunteer sign-up experience, and creating a much stronger visual story around CASA's mission and the people who make it possible.
We also moved the volunteer training portal to its own dedicated website, allowing the main site to stay focused on the public-facing journey: learn → connect → take action.
The result is a site that doesn't just tell people what CASA of Tarrant County does. It helps people find their place in the mission.
For nonprofits, that's what good web design should do.
